About Typegrid

Typegrid is an independent font discovery and typography tool built on top of the Google Fonts catalog. Rather than mirroring Google Fonts, we focus on helping you actually evaluate a font before you commit to it: live previews with your own text, weight and pairing comparisons, and ready-to-copy CSS.

Font metadata is synced directly from the official Google Fonts Developer API, and every font page links back to that font's official license so you always know what you're allowed to do with it.

What we're not

We're not a font marketplace or a font hosting service — every font shown here is freely available on Google Fonts. Our job is discovery and testing, not distribution.
